PDN Video Pick: Simon Biswas’s Portraits of Aging
In “Light of Day,” editorial and commercial portrait photographer Simon Biswas created video portraits of people in their 80s and 90s who reflect on their lives and on the process of aging.
Biswas edited the video using Final Cut Pro. He recorded the audio interviews using a kit he assembled for about $750. Sound designer Jesse Flower-Ambroch mixed the sound using Pro Tools.
