How long is too long to be an intern who’s running and schlepping. This is not the job I signed on for. I’m the studio gofor and I’m sick of it.

If you’re working as an intern and you are NOT learning something, LEAVE. If you are certain that you are being taken advantage of, LEAVE. If you work 50-60 hours per week and nobody says, “Thank you and well done,” LEAVE. But, if you are learning something, have done everything you can to be helpful and have worked there for a reasonable period of time (a month), ask if it’s possible to receive a stipend, as working without any compensation is something you just cannot afford to do. Interning in a studio is a right of passage in this business. It’s not intended to be enjoyable.
